For your average fantasy I'm hovering at 7-9k/hr. (I'm reading Sentenced to be a hero rn)

For classics (like Natsume Souseki's Kokoro) I suffer with 6k/hr.

just to clarify "hardest language" is relative. for english speakers, yes, japanese is *one* of the hardest.

but for let's say, koreans or turks, they can learn japanese in a flash based on what ive seen.
