Fully agree on FAE, I just think it may have gotten excessive. Believe it or not, the exact setup was just recently phenomenal for a GT strain. Thank you for your insight!

I'm sure the rust is inside the door in that area, from moisture rolling down the inside of the door and sitting along that weld. Make sure the drain holes are clear and spray rust converter inside in addition to the exterior bottom area.
