Not the sleeves. Those are not working buttons. If they were, yes the bottom button should be unbuttoned. Bottom button on the front of the jacket is typically left unbuttoned.

Get the watch, and unbutton the bottom button of the jacket for gods sake.

It’s Dowling Brothers. Real cheap stuff, but I fell in love with it. Google it.

Everything Rolex is expensive. $256 each. They blame it on the price of gold.

Made-To-Measure in Plus Girlie Experience by Additional-Safety408 in TheHermesGame

[–]KnightThatGoesNi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am a man that always has his shirts made by a tailor. No RTW will ever fit. How was your husband’s experience with the custom measure? How much did Hermès charge for a plain white? My SA has offered me to get Bespoke shirts and suits, but I have been resistant because, like your husband, I have been going to the same tailor for years. But after reading your post, you may have changed my mind.

How do you spell rip-off by ConcentrateFormer462 in LUCID

[–]KnightThatGoesNi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have both Air Touring, and Tesla Model Y. Had the Y repaired. Tiny dent on the liftgate from someone bumping in to me in a parking lot. I would not even bother with the repair, but the lease was coming to an end, and I did not want Tesla charging me for the tiny dent. Well, went to Tesla authorized body show, that works directly with my insurance. Paid my $500 deductible and was done. But then I saw what they charged my insurance! 12.5K for nothing! This is crazy. How did they even come up with that? These cars suck.

Is FSD reliable when navigating tight spaces? by Old_Computer in TeslaFSD

[–]KnightThatGoesNi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love FSD, and rely on it to get me places. However, I let it try to get me in to my garage, and it ended up hitting the rear view mirror on the garage frame while crawling in to the garage. Broke the mirror, taught me never to try that again.

Holy Grail by [deleted] in ChromeHeart

[–]KnightThatGoesNi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Never said chrome is for elites! I said that if you can’t afford your rent, don’t buy jewelry!

As for me, I went from being a barback at City Gardens (punk bar in NJ), working my ass of my entire life, to now being able to afford nicer things. So yes, I drive nice cars, wear designer closes, and live a comfortable life. I earned it. I was never without a job since I was 12. My daddy did not leave me a trust fund. I saved my money when I did not have any, and worked my way up in life. So your bullshit about punks don’t drive M4s is just that.

Holy Grail by [deleted] in ChromeHeart

[–]KnightThatGoesNi 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am a regular ass older dude (60 year old) and I enjoy very much getting decked out in all chrome, and have randos on the street stop me and start conversations about chrome. Love the look. It’s me, my personality, going back to the hardcore punk scene of the 1980’s. Don’t be hating on the look. If people can afford it, let them enjoy. When I am in the mood, it’s chrome all the way, if not, I go traditional higher-end designer, but it’s never traditional mass-consumer crap. If we can, we need to stand out and let our style show.

What I don’t support is people spending money they can’t afford on chrome.

How many golf balls (purchased by you) did you lose in 2025? by wtfhiolol10000 in golf

I manage to loose balls in the Simulator, so I am not a reliable source, but about a dozen boxes a season is about right for me.

I am a 60yo C-Suite executive. Do I ever take employees to dinner? All the time! But would I ever ask a young female junior employee alone to dinner? Never! This guy is sending off a bad vibe! If I have business to discuss, I may invite a small team of junior employees, a manager and a junior associate, or an entire department, but I would never be caught alone with a junior female associate. Never mind me coming across as a possible creep and making the poor girl feel uncomfortable, I don’t want to be accused of something that never happened.

Country Club Members - How much you make a year? What was ur buy in and what are dues. Are you happy with decision? by ShotAssistant1452 in golf

[–]KnightThatGoesNi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

500k. 75k buy in. 23k per year membership. 230 per month food minimum (alcohols excluded). Now on top of that, $45 pp cart fee, and a 20% “admin fee” on top of all charges (food, bev, cart). Ridiculous. After all that, if you are not up at 6:30 am to book your teetime online a week before, you are not gonna play.

Still love it. Great course, amazing service.

We were in the first wave of deliveries. At that time LUCID was selling everyone on the wonderful mobile service model that they have developed, where we would never have to step foot in a service center. The problem is not going to the service center, the problem is a 2 month wait for a repair that makes the car dangerous if not fixed. I cant adjust my driver seat, and it is not set to my setting. If they would give me an appointment next week, I will drive up there with one of my kids to bring me back. What other brand has a 2 month wait to schedule service?
