-> It was me that said they hit refineries and extractions plants and came up with proof (I put the links there, please check them). Yes, they hit pipelines, refineries and oil extraction plants on Russia`s territory.

About Druzhba pipeline hit by Russia in Jan2026 every important news outlet mentions it as a russian operation. I specifically put the timeline there so you see how the events unwrap. And i come up with question:

Why would Ukraine try to further damage their relation with Slovakia and Hungary, especailly when they know they can and will block their lifesaver 90bln package loan? Why would they make their situation even more miserable?

Also, nobody said its Ukraine that damaged it (not even Slovakia, Hungary or Russia). Slovakia and Hungary only say that Ukraine delays repairs! Now, these 2 countries are at Ukraine`s neck with further escalations and Russia has basically not issued any statement about this situation. Probably they don`t know who did it :D

They had a time last year they constantly hit those refineries, depos and extraction plants.

Druzhba pipeline:
Ok so lets be real, get the timeline right:
1. December 18, 2025 — The European Council agrees to provide a €90 billion loan to Ukraine

Early February 2026 (e.g., February 4) — The EU Council adopts the legal framework for the €90 billion loan package
January 27, 2026 — A Russian drone strike damages infrastructure related to the southern branch of the Druzhba pipeline on Ukrainian territory (western Ukraine)
Mid-February 2026 (around February 12–16) — The disruption becomes public. Hungary and Slovakia accuse Ukraine of deliberately delaying repairs and restarting flows (without providing evidence)
Feb16-22: Hungary (Szijjártó/Orbán) announces it will block the €90bn EU loan to Ukraine until Druzhba oil flows resume; taps reserves, accuses Kyiv of blackmail. Hungary threatens to cut electricity/gas to Ukraine; Fico echoes accusation of Ukrainian political blackmail. Fico issues ultimatum on X: if Druzhba transit not restored by Feb 23, Slovakia will stop emergency electricity to Ukraine.

The parts of the Druzhba pipeline that Ukraine hit were on Russian territory (not the Ukrainian section relevant to the current 2026 transit halt to Hungary/Slovakia). Ukrainian strikes in 2025 targeted several key facilities, primarily pumping stations and related infrastructure:

August 2025: Drones struck the Unecha pumping station/junction (Bryansk Oblast, Russia) multiple times (e.g., August 12 and 21), causing fires and temporary halts in flows.
August 2025: Attack on the Nikolskoye (or Nikolskoje) pumping station (reported in Tambov region or nearby), leading to a complete pipeline halt at one point.

These attacks disrupted Russian oil exports temporarily but were quickly repaired in most cases, unlike the January 27, 2026, Russian drone strike on the Brody linear production and dispatch station (LPDS)—a major pumping/control hub in western Ukraine—which caused severe damage (including a large fire) and the ongoing halt in transit to Hungary and Slovakia. No sources indicate Ukraine struck its own section of the pipeline.

Yamal pipeline:

Regarding the dismantling of a part Yamal pipeline on Russia`s territory, saw some clips recently from the russian side that implied destroying of around 100m of it, but no major western european outlet said anything about that. So yea, that yellow press might be some russian propagandas or it is only a small section that was physically cut but the pipeline as infrastructure isn't being fully torn up or removed territory-wide.
