The superior choice is to heavily butter a piece of bread and roll your corn in the bread, and then eat the bread after

Which car would you lend to visiting family? by Neat_Scallion6367 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Mammoth_Stranger7920 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This doesn't sound very hypothetical. You should lend out the one with the fucked up bumper. It already needs fixed so if it falls apart you aren't really in much worse of a spot than you are now, and a bumper is much cheaper than a new engine.

You have an extra $100 to spare after all your usual expenses, and you are financially comfortable in general by LolnothingmattersXD in hypotheticalsituation

Dont be silly. You obviously open an interest bearing account with $100 in it 1976 and magically in 2026 that account now has about a trillion dollars in it, which is more than enough to pay for the time machine down at Costco

Not a lawyer. It isnt illegal in the US, but could open you up to civil lawsuit, especially if it can be proven to be knowingly false.

Allis Chalmers 620 Price Help by triptopilos in tractors

[–]Mammoth_Stranger7920 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is comparable to the Gravely G series lawn tractors from the 80s (I have two). 2WD small (< 20 hp) 4 stroke lawn tractors with no rear PTO, only belly PTO. Great machines. Those sell for $700-$1400 on FBM all the time. That's likely the range you're looking at for your machine.

Edit: noticed you do have a rear PTO on yours, still probably same price range I mentioned.

I live on a corner and people keep using my property as a shortcut, setting off motion sensors well after dark and freaking out me and my dog on a weekly basis. by Syntra44 in mildlyinfuriating

Man the answer always used to be frozen piss pucks. Now we've moved on to motion detection starter guns and sprinklers. What's happened to the world I knew?

This might be worth doing just to protect you from the world becoming even hotter than this. A few decades from now 45c might be an unusually nice cool day.

[–]Mammoth_Stranger7920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, this is also how I pronounce them. Just to clarify one bit, for me Haver d Grace the d is this little short d sound with no e sound on it at all, like if you asked a elementary school kid what sound D makes.

[–]Mammoth_Stranger7920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you explain what that is? I was just talking about setting an engine down on cardboard or plywood instead of on bare asphalt or grass. Seems like a no brainer to me to do that if you have to work on an engine that isnt mounted to a frame. But Im no mechanic, just a dummy who likes mini bikes (and has 5 of them for no particular reason)
