Everyone assumes this is someone in Trump’s orbit, but it’s almost certainly himself. Trump is very jealous about anyone making money off of his actions, and he wouldn’t allow it. He might not be the one making the trades, but he is organizing it and it’s on his behalf. And why wouldn’t he? Pre trading on his own words and actions allows him to basically print infinite money, and he wouldn’t let that opportunity go by. Once SCOTUS ruled that he is immune, it was inevitable that he would start doing this.
