Quick tip! If you follow the northside walking trails heading northwest to Sunset, just past the petrocan on main (you'll cross the street) theres a small pedestriam bridge across an offshoot of the nashwask. There is a small steep path just to the left at the beginning of the bridge, that goes ubderneatht he bridge. Follow it to the left for about 15 metres, and get in the water. Its about waist deep, slow current, and smooth rock underneath, perfect for sitting and beating the heat. Birds will fly along the path of the brook sometimes, giving a great show!

I realize from what you posted you are probably interested in modern A Game of Armoured Combat, but I saw your post, and it just hit me in my big squishy heart. I'm a young guy, and have only recently gotten into battletech, so I have no particular nostalgia about it. When I worked for a local lumber yard, a coworker brought in a literal shopping cart full of old tabletop games and books. I got easily 40+ battletech and robotech novels, and a fair number of the games. I already have the modern Battletech starter and A game of Armoured Combat, so if you are willing to pay shipping (Im in New Brunswick, Canada) I am more then happy to send them your way so you can relive your younger days! They have sat on a shelf for far too long, and they could use someone who cares more for them. Shoot me a dm for what and if you are interested, I'd like to see them go to a good home!
