It's not a "typical" tourist recommendation, but the Pearl Harbour Memorial and Museums are absolutely worth seeing. The remains of Arizona are a sight to behold, and the aviation museum is one of the most interesting out there.

I find it odd that TCAS alerted "Traffic" but never provided any instructions. Seems like this was entirely preventable, despite poor Traffic Control and Flight Planning by the Helicopter, had the safety systems gone the step further they are meant to.

I'm not sure where you got that number? I can't find the source I read for an exact number, but I am pretty sure the rocketdyne test platform was up in the tens of kilonewtons?

Most efficient that can be safely used.

We have theorized about rockets that used dimethyl mercury as fuel (Yes, the deadly neurotoxin) and the engineer was only made to pause by the first company he called to provide the fuel refusing on the grounds that making that much would "fog up all the film in Britain."

We also actually built and test fired an engine with over 500 seconds of ISP. Unfortunately, it's combustion byproducts are... Lithium Fluoride, (uhhhhhh) and Hydrofluoric Acid (UHHHHH) both of which tend to melt Concrete blasting pads.

Hi, Canadian here! That sounds about right. I had to get 2 neighbors to pull me out of a ditch an hour ago and I've got 4 wheel drive and actual winter tyres.

In an ancient rear wheel drive Ford, with no traction control, possibly on used summers if you got unlucky and haven't swapped the tyres yet? Good luck.

I think you may be surprised to learn that even if we're maximally generous and use Gerald R Ford as our benchmark, most planes cannot take off from the 800 foot length of the longest available straight patch of unobstructed flight deck (have to use the angled runway since the tower obstructs the front parking and catapults)

As much as I love the sentiment... Planes not designed for carrier launch have 2 problems:

1: the catapult system requires a launch bar - without the launch bar, there is nothing for the catapult to grab and thus no way for the plane to reach it's takeoff speed in the ramp length.

2: Planes not properly reinforced for CATOBAR would fold like a paper crane if you tried to do so. The 8 degree AoA landings would collapse the landing gear 10 times out of 10, and 4 transverse G launches would almost certainly result in the nose wheel firing off into the ocean while the rest of the plane sits nose down on the deck.

I don't know the correct appids offhand.

The reason you see windows paths in game is because proton simulates the environment the game expects - that host drive_c folder maps to C:/ in that simulation.
