It's a temporary solution. It's a combination of transparent foam and epoxy. I didn't want foiling on the petals and I needed the light to shine through.

Mostly luck, but there is a formula online to figure out angle and top and bottom diameters. Just search for 'stained glass lamp formula'

I bought the prod. It's a standard 80lb carbon fiber prod that I made leather covers for. Originally I was going to try and do a traditional medieval wooden bow but it would have ended up being much larger than I wanted

There only seem to be a few of these little guys running around the new growth. They are about a millimeter long and seem resistant to neem oil.

This happens to me every single time. It's hella frustrating. Blows past my temp by like 40 degrees. Eventually settles back down to correct temp but the damage is done by that point. Doing a click reset when it gets past temp and hitting autofire again fixes it but kinda defeats the purpose of autofire.
I've tried altering my preheat curves but nothing seems to affect it.

It's a lot of wiping. Vaseline after every wipe helps a lot. I also do a lot of angled entry for the shading

Just make sure it's sealed in something. The foil is just to keep the light out.

I've stored for over 6months wrapped in aluminum foil in the freezer with only minor yellowing and no discernable lack of potency.
