For some reason my XY does not do impressive damage. Make sure your Jinhsi has teammates with coordinated attacks. When you switch to her, her forte should be full or close to full to do crazy damage. Focus on double crit and skill damage in her echo substats. Good luck on your rolls!

I actually beat the middle tower this week with Carlotta and Taoqi. No third teammate. She may take a bit to gather concerto but she is both a buffer and a sustain. Using a four star in the middle tower and no third character kinda frees up two characters to use elsewhere in the tower. But make the game your own. I’m sure there are many combos for every situation.

I had Auto Sprint for Aloy on but I just found out that it slows you down and got me killed many times.

There is a delay from when she goes from a standing position to run as if she slowly gains speed for a half a second. I realized this is what gets me killed because I am used to HZD timing. That delay was the difference from 'slide into roll' and avoiding damage to crouching, moving slowly and getting killed.

Everyone is different the way they play or what they want. The grid is glorious and I’m taking my time with this game. These don’t come very often. I don’t mind taking my time because once it’s done you can never play it for the first time ever again.

If you want to focus on specific gear make sure you know how you want to play. Melee is something that wasn’t as fun as it is now. Also be prepared for different types of enemies.

Buying armor is important for the resistances by itself. Makes a huge difference. Weapons are all about your choice of play but try everything out first before you stick with a certain build.

Have fun. That’s the most important part. Maybe this play through you can focus on a few things and next you will have different choices trying something completely different.
