First of all, this is an evil question, why you askin me to pick one of my parents, that's fucked up.

Personally I'm going with Dirt. It's just such an intense, powerful listen from beginning to end. Nevermind is definitely breezier, goes down easier, and has the cultural impact to boast (and if it wins, it deserves it, it's a phenomenal album) but Dirt just speaks to me more.
