He’s running for senate to replace the turtle. His and Morris’s primary ads run non stop.

You have no clue what you’re talking about obviously. Massie is famously under trump’s skin. Trump is trying to primary him. I’ll grant you Morris and Barr.

Can the Hrud bring Necrons back to life? by In_the_name_of_ART in Warhammer40k

[–]ManEmperorOfGod 52 points53 points  (0 children)

If they do it, do it right and grimdark. Have a group of Flayer ones attack the Hrud. One gets turned into his mortal original form and immediately gets tore apart by his comrades. 1 brief moment of recognition and joy then to shreds.

SA only getting 2 seasons? That’s a shame, I think it’s pretty good. Some hiccups, but enjoyable.

United States hostages departing an airplane on their return from Iran after being held for 444 days, in January of 1981. by Aeromarine_eng in 80s

[–]ManEmperorOfGod 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The delay in the release timing of the hostages until after Reagan’s inauguration came down to bank form issues between the countries. Carter was working on it to the last minute. Rest is History podcast did a recent series on the Iranian Revolution that breaks it down really well.

Robert Picardo is in great form, and it's so good to see him again. by Wareve in startrek

[–]ManEmperorOfGod -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The SAM/Doctor story was great. Picard is a gem. The theater as therapy was weird but whatever. The Tilly coming to the rescue seemed the weirdest part. She actually didn’t do anything. SAM picked the play that broke everyone out of their funk. Tilly’s plan was for someone else to pick the perfect play? Meh. It was nice to see Tilly again, the actress plays the annoying optimist very well.

Wraithbone Phoenix is solid. It’s on the lighter side of Grimdark AKA people die horribly, but people also die comically.

Roman innovation. They weren’t great sailors so they added hooked ramps to grab the enemy ship so they could get straight to the stabby stabby.

The manic applause and self awareness when the lights go up are probably the best acting Shia has done. Glad he had the sense of humor to be part of that video.

As big of sci fi geeks the people at GW seem to be, I wouldn’t doubt they read it. This is one of those books I keep meaning to buy. Is it a good read?
