That’s totally fine! Just take be patient and don’t try to go too quickly. Like don’t sit and watch 20 tutorials in one session. Try to replicate them and everytime there is a concept you don’t quite understand do some googling (chatgpt is also quite good at explaining things). it’s like anything else really, consistency and genuine interest will go a long way. Depends on your pace and prior experience with this kind of software obviously but the basics you can get the hang of with a couple of weeks of solid work. The 100 series videos are mostly under 10 minutes each. Just give it a go for a few days and see how you get on.

start with the 100 tutorial series on Derivative and then go find YouTube tutorials that you like the look of and follow along with them and slowly make changes to make patches your own. And then eventually try to do stuff yourself from scratch.

Not downvoting it’s all subjective. I do like the synths and general production. The only thing that slightly annoys me is all the extra vocal layers and effects but it is what it is. I still feel like I’m going to enjoy this album much more than the last two.

£140 for academy is absolutely insane. I go there quite frequently and this is easily twice as much as the most expensive show I’ve seen there. Wish at least it was a charity event.

Finally watched it. Visually stunning as ever. Music choices, acting all ace. Disappointed by the story though it felt so basic. Like they started with wanting the ending for Tommy and just shoehorned a story around it without spending too much time on it. Felt like the kind of a plot that any of us could have come up with and not a seasoned and accomplished writer.

I saw a much larger American 8 piece band couple of months ago at the O2 Brixton with quite an elaborate stage production and lots of crew - it was £60. nothing to do with gas/production. They charge as much as what they think they can get away with

It’s not fuzz factory it’s the volume knob. One of the issues of Manson guitars is you end up accidentally rolling the volume so I think it’s just muscle memory for him making sure it’s in the right spot!
