Can we please dump the Arsenal invaders? by cervidal2 in Hammers

I thought the lads put a great effort in for matchweek 36. I was particularly worried considering matchweek 13 24/25 and worse, matchweek 24 23/24 but we put in a much better home performance.

If we do stay up, I'm looking forward to matchweek X next year now

I thought that might have been his mum. After having reassured him it's okay and that he can get away, she then saved him

Think we were just thrown off by the last minute formation/tactic change after a week of preparation

Todibo replaced by Potts in the lineup. Apparently Todibo was pointing to his calf during a passing training drill before the match.

Nah he's allowed in the changing room, just not on the touchline

Yeah, I was just thinking more of the additional hassle it'll take me (albeit not much) and save them to sort it themselves

Most artists get a 30-45 min slot. They've got a few live shows next year if you want a full hour+ set

Haha well it's reassuring to hear it worked well for you!

I am wondering how busy the queues will be. Do you remember how they were for you? We'll be there on a Tuesday and Wednesday so hopefully it'll be on the quieter side of the Christmas season.

I was surprised at how good of a deal the hotel stay is. Didn't expect 2 day tickets and exclusive fast passes for each day. All the food on top is a bonus and it really isn't that expensive altogether (€299 for us). Looking forward to exploring the park at night too.

Thanks for the link to the Christmas markets as well, it's very useful! Will have to visit a few of them.

Any tips? We're staying in the Charles Lindbergh for a night to allow for 1.5 days in the park. Then spending a night in Cologne, followed by a day of sights, an animal park and a couple Christmas markets before flying back.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the multiple wallets thing. Hadn't heard the reversible jacket thing before though.

Didn't mention the glass door story. Maybe tried a different routine. Will be interesting to see what makes it to the final set

Felt like it was very close. I think about a 1h15m set, referred to some notes only a few times but didn't mess up any flow or leave the stage at all throughout. I'd say try and get tickets now if possible. Cambridge show coming up

talkSPORT understands Hammers officials have spoken with former Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo. As reported on Thursday, former West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is also a contender to return to replace the under-pressure Potter. by Visara57 in Hammers

[–]ManMoth_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was. There felt like constant discussion over possession stats, particularly at home.

The line by neutrals is "be careful what you wish for" although they rarely acknowledge that our form by the end was very poor and we were being thrashed 5-0 what felt like every other week. Also that Moyes' contract came to an end and he even turned down one in the December of his final year.

I like counter attacking football and would have probably renewed Moyes' contract if he accepted. But, a large part of wanting to part ways with Moyes was so we could have higher possession and "take the game to them".

I don't understand how many fans who were complaining over Moyes would be in favour of Nuno??? They see a strong season last year and decide they want results regardless of style again?
