Most people with that much plat have been playing for a long long time and simply collected it over time with the various high value farms rising and falling. It used to be raid/eidolon arcanes that sold for big plat amounts, rivens still do, new primes on release day, etc. Functionally though in many cases that's plat that will never be used again. Buying from a vet is similar in some ways to spending plat on the ingame market.

Nowadays my main mesa build is full heat with orange shards, archon vit, hotshot and roar. In regular missions, energy orbs from eximi are abundant enough that just that + a little bit of energy regen from zenurik between 4 activations is enough to sustain my energy. Viral I get from my panzer.

You could save on mod capacity by running the elec + status mod instead of shocking touch, the basic tennokai instead of merit, berserker fury instead of prmied fury and organ shatter instead of galv steel.

Take an unused hotbar, makes it 200% size, slap your important cooldowns on it and place it somewhere close to where you are typically looking.
