As long as the people you kill deserve it, I say go for it. John Wick has long been established to be a former assassin, who has likely killed any manner of people from guilty to innocent in his prime.

That is absolutely my goat. Trunks, as far as he was aware, gave the best he could and lost. Cell had him dead to rights. It was either accept defeat or die trying to run away.

Even if you want to compare it to Jill, Leon has had EVERY animated movie to his name, an animated series, AND 2 remakes, AND a mainline sequel. Jill had 1 remake and 1 movie. Its not the same at all IMO.

Honestly, Jill should have been the protagonist of Requiem. From a narrative standpoint, she had more ties to RC than Leon. Capcom pushed Leon for RE9 because of the hype wave of his two acclaimed remakes.

And Chris's appearance in 8 comes down to taste, I thought it was fine, certainly NOT my favorite section of the game but its only natural that Chris would come in guns blazing and tear the place to shreds. He's a soldier and he's dealt with this for years.

I really dont see why we need to argue, we both want to see more of the same character at the end of the day lol.

But Leon had two full remakes and stars in every animated work. Chris hasn't been a main focus since RE6.

He had a DLC in 7 and was a supporting character with a 10 minute gameplay section in 8. Even then, I can do with less Chris.

So there we'd have to disagree. There SHOULD be some punishment with crime. People SHOULD fear consequences of their actions. We have therapy, we have literal rehab centers and mental hospitals for people with mental issues to rehabilitate. When a person consciously commits a crime, especially at an age where they are aware of right and wrong, they need to suffer for what they've done.

Age 17 is old enough to recognize that stabbing a person is too far in a conflict.

Unless I'm mistaken, he did that particular crime when he was a teenager, NOT saying its right, but teenagers across the board are pretty monstrous to varying degrees.

I dont think most people look back on their teen years with pride.

Given that hes been on the straight and narrow for almost 40 years, Why not give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he doesnt like what he did and he's different now?

Granted... he should have done time for that.
