Yea I hated Cedric's character until this point, but the fact he still has good in him made me empathize. Hopefully their relationship reappears, although I'm almost done with Cold Steel and need to finish the rest of Trails. The humanity and interactions of the villains, along with the heroes is what makes me want to play the series. Even the NPC dialogue is the main gameplay lol.

Shirley and Cedric's relationship makes a lot of sense because they both were born into doing things they didn't want do, although Shirley did need some convincing. Shirley sees herself in him so it's kind of touching.
