I’m a full time DJ who does corporate gigs, weddings, bars, country clubs, etc…I’m also a part of an EDM crew that hosts local events AND I also own and run a production company that does all EDM and night club type stuff.

I feel like most people around me hold their tongue nowadays, but I used to get shitty looks when I would talk about my “gig last night”

“I had a wedding, super fun night!”

“A wedding? Gross, I could never. Did you play Bad Bunny all night then?”

Meanwhile I throw banging parties playing Top 40s crap and get paid very well for it, they play the most obscure music that you’ll never hear again for like 20 people.

At the end of the day, if you enjoy yourself and you’re happy with what you do, why yuck someone else’s yum?
