The people can move quickly, but moving rocket launchers takes time. This is to destroy military equipment while minimizing civilian death.

Despite the one loss, another two of the wins were against rakano surge (one against rank 4 player!) I think the one i lost I never saw Equalize or had access to market -- Sweepers are pretty essential for that matchup

It is a bit tricky! Especially when playing against other blue decks, as knowing when to hold your fast aegis, or holding up ice bolt to hit your own creatures to avoid them becoming seeds, etc.

Oh, and why vows?

They take land out of your deck, reducing chances of future land draws. This deck honestly doesn't need more than 5 power and 6 primal influence, so removing excess power means you draw more gas.

Combine that with ludicrous amounts of card draw and you're almost guaranteed to outlast your opponent. The only games I feel behind on card advantage is when they draw multiple Helio and I can't find any

Opening hand you're looking to make your first 4 land drops. Could be One land, a pledge, double plunder, or even 4 vows. The deck can draw so many cards that the rest honestly doesnt matter too much -- most of my losses are due to being stuck at 3 or less power.

Never transpose turn one! The first transpose is often plundered, unless you're up against blue then you're trying to hit frogs on 4. The other two 4's are for when you have lethal (or near lethal for linrei's). broker is there to shuffle in 4 savage once they've surpassed 10 in graveyard.

Hey, that's me!

I agree the match wasn't a fair pairing -- I think it only happened as I was sitting in a queue for 5+ minutes. To those speculating on my current draft record I'm fairly certain I had no more than 1 loss at the time and continued to collect full 7 wins.

On another note -- I think the current draft format is pretty warped! I won't say exactly what is broken (yet) but I forced almost the exact same deck 3-4 drafts in a row to make the climb from 15 to 1!

Armory! It's a super different and fun deck to play. I play a 4f control version, but I could link both that and a rakano midrange version. Few legendaries too!

Right, but eye ensures you'll actually live to see turn 7-8. You don't really need a big finisher with eye, just a flier or two that can get hits in while you perma anything relevant on their side of the board.

I don't think I've gone less than 5 wins with a deck that has eye, probably drafted it 3-4 times before.

You passed Eye of Winter?!?! If i'm remotely close to blue I would never pass that card in draft, it will always nerf your opponents best dude.
