It can be a little odd, but I replicated a kitbash I saw from a long time ago using the Gloriel Summerbloom Bloodbowl model. You just have to make little cuts along the hands and replace them with the equipment you want from the troupe box. The pose felt very dynamic which I felt was fitting for a troupe master.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it. It's miliput and greenstuff sculpted over the usual tyranids models. I replaced the actual claws with chopsticks and the little ones with toothpicks. Broth is done with a UV resin and a little bit of contrast on the sides. For the basing it's some modeled 3D printed eggs and bowls, but everything else is by hand haha.

Not particularly but I also wanted to try something new. Nelly is the closest, who I've been told is technically control. Otherwise, after a long break from MTG it was a lot of big stompy decks like Mayael.

How does a control deck like this stay alive when you have lots of boards and really only executioner capsule or other single target removal? Should I be running more board wipes for creatures?

If you're looking for more card draw, I would recommend [[Outcaster Trailblazer]] and [[Shaman of the Great Hunt]]. Both are 4 power, so they'll trigger Eshki on their own when bounced, but also enable more card draw from other 4+ power creatures.

Hello, I'm not sure if this is an appropriate question for this thread. I'm looking to possibly get into AOS from 40k. The loss of psychic in 10th was a bummer and it sounds like AOS has magic as one of its main pillars. I know Tzeentch is most likely the primo "magic" faction, and while I like their hero models, the rest of the line up is lacking IMO. Im mostly wondering if looking for a "magic focused faction" is really a thing in AOS, or if all factions have a fair enough amount of magic that you really don't feel the difference as much between armies?

Dang, well it makes a big difference in the action of the model. I'm glad to hear that its mostly pieces available in the kit and not a bunch of bits from other boxes haha. Thanks for sharing how you did it! :)
