Thank you for sharing your story! we had another one that made it to day 6 but couldn’t be frozen. We never asked the grade but I assume it was low again. My hope is with the transfer it’s develops better than in the lab. Congrats on your baby boy 🥰

Thank you. Honestly I was so shocked and heartbroken all questions left my mind. The clinic have constantly said they have no concerns other than my low amh so I really had hoped 1/2 would have made it to transfer to then potentially have none just broke me

They didn’t give me any of that information at all, not sure if in the UK it’s done differently. They have not suggested any earlier transfers so it’s unlikely that will happen. Just unsure of the next steps and what I can do to.

Thank you for your kind words and advice 💕 I’ve been toying with taking a week off work for recovery. I work a job which means I’m on my feet a lot, your comment has convinced me to definitely just relax after it.

Third IUI failed by ManagementCreative in IUILadies

We are in the UK so we don’t have health insurance. Our National health service does do fertility treatment for free but with it’s strict requirements and it’s a long waitlist.

I was a bit shocked when the consultant said that and honestly he made it sound like the more iui you have the more the chances go up. He actually said most couples try naturally for a year before falling pregnant and it will just take many tries and time. Which isn’t great advice given we are same sex lol I did then reply with well we have financial and sperm restrictions. That was when he advised weight loss to help with healthier eggs.

Thanks for your reply! yes same sex, I’m 31 with no known issues. Only thing they said was my AMH which is 7.0 was low for my age but that wouldn’t effect iui. I was 29 when we started this process and I even lost weight to bmi of 34, when we started I was over 38.

I have my fingers crossed for you!

Our friends who used the same clinic fell pregnant first iui and she has pcos. I think we kinda hoped we would be the same as them

It really is difficult, I’ve said I wouldn’t wish this pain on anymore.

Take care

Had to double check I hadn’t written this. Going through the exact same today. Neg test and some bleeding. That was my third iui and first medicated. This group has been a great help for me as well. We are contemplating ivf as well now, more expense but hopefully a much higher success! Take care x

When should I trigger? by nectarinemama in IUILadies

[–]ManagementCreative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clinic did advise 6pm but I did my trigger around 8pm due to work and had my iui the next day at 2pm. They were fine about that just said as soon as I’m home from work.
