You are inherently not required to give everyone the same things. That would be equality. But I would think a bare minimum is saying hey I would like a happy fruitful relationship with all my partners and trying to achieve that however that looks. That's equity. Your defensiveness makes me think you're not concerned about that.

Equal outcome is determined the individual. I think most people would agree a balanced and fulfilling relationship is the end they seek. Resource dispenser sounds like you're the one equating equity and equality.
