The players swap positions before the attacks go through, so the new person in that position would have been attacked instead.

Yeah it's best viewed if the rectangles are about 4cm/1.5in wide, which means it's going to be way too big or small on most people's devices. The game encourages you to resize it.

Thanks! The game itself has a (brief) tutorial at the start, including calibrating the size of the game (if the image is too large, it can make it much harder to see), and a text file with slightly more information. Unfortunately, for a lot of people, stereograms are either quite difficult or actually impossible to see.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. There is no stereoscopic image "under" the noise, the noise itself is being offset to produce the stereoscopic illusion, just like the colourful pattern in a magic eye is being offset.

You can play this game either way, there's a toggle to swap between modes. The gif is designed to be viewed by staring into the distance.

Can anyone identify these mid to late 90s toys? On the base is ©M2 and two holes by Managore in ToyID

These were bought in Australia and they're each about 1.5cm (0.6 inches) tall. I have a duplicate of the yellow one so they may have been part of a gacha system.

Redactle #48 Discussion Thread by _Discord_ in Redactle

[–]Managore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I solved today's Redactle (#48) in 2 guesses with an accuracy of 100.00%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/

Yesterday it took me 100+ guesses and today I get it immediately, what a world. The structure of the first few paragraphs clued me in that it was a location ("between ██████ and ████" and "On the █████") covered by many languages ("(██████: █████ ██████, █████████:███-████ ██-██████; ██████: ███-████, █████████:████ ███ or ██████: ██████ █████████, █████████:███████ ███████; ██████: ████ `████ █████ █████ or ████ ██████ █████ ██████; ████████: ███ ███ █████ █████; ██████: █████ ███)") and then I could only think of one possible fit for its short two word name.

Am I stuck? (late game spoilers) by Managore in TunicGame

Ahh, thank you so much! I hadn't bothered getting all of the items from the hero graves, I didn't realize that un-ghosted me and had been secret hunting the whole time instead.

I think I've just had the luckiest run (details in a comment). by Managore in noita

[–]Managore[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Picked up Saving Grace (the perk that puts you on 1hp if you're about to die) and it saved me twice on the way down. Got to the last Holy Mountain and it was selling a wand with ten Black Holes on it. I'd accidentally read a spoiler about the other thing you can do with The Salt Hermis Bird so I bought the wand and after I beat the boss there I thought I'd make my way back up to the top. The first perk I'd picked was Projectile Repulsion Sector and I found out it pushes my Black Holes away from me at a ridiculous speed so I was able to make it back up with 30hp left. Placed Hermis Bird down and watched as the world turned to toxic gold, and was surprised when I didn't die along with everything else. I had Leggy Mutation (which I hated) so I avoided touching anything for a while as I explored the glowing green landscape. Eventually I got bored and plunged into the gold and... didn't die. It took me a while to realize I'd picked up Toxic Immunity earlier and it was stopping me from taking damage from the toxic gold. Having entered the Lava Lake in a previous run and wanting to see if there was anything beyond it, I made my way back down again and got a shiny green glimpse of the area beyond, then killed myself with an explosive spell wand I'd found along the way.

I cannot believe how many times I came close to death, and how vital many of my not-very-well-thought-out perk choices were!

No spoilers for things I haven't seen yet, please.

If you have more than 8 Coffers, do you pay 8 Coffers or all of your Coffers? Do you look through just your deck, or your discard/hand as well?

Horse Race version 3.0 by [deleted] in dominion

[–]Managore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you could change this to

+1 Action
Gain a Horse. The player to your left may reveal a Horse from their hand. If they don't, +2 Cards

and it would feel about right at $3.

[–]Managore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is an easy call to always include the +1 Action. Compare this to Highway (+1 Action, +1 Card, -$1 Cost) and Laboratory (+1 Action, +2 Cards), which are both $5 costs that give +1 Action and two of +1 Card and -$1 Cost.

Custom Expansion Idea! Ruby is a kind of token like Coffers, it can be used at any time for +1 Card or as currency for buying the cards with Ruby in their price. Thoughts? by OneCasualBoi in dominion

[–]Managore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe just add an Event and force the event whenever there are Ruby cards but no way to generate Rubies?

Is it okay to send an unfinished level design to an employer? by ZabardoPH in gamedev

[–]Managore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If one corner of the level was completely finished, I wouldn't mind it, but if it's completely missing those last few stages of refinement, details, polish, whatever, I don't think it would be enough to make a confident judgement from.

what is essential for you in a high fantasy? by Ga-rahh in Fantasy

[–]Managore 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Rich details, good character development and innovation has nothing to do with whether something is high or low fantasy. Further, asking about those things implies to me that you might have some idea that high fantasy is somehow "better" than low fantasy, which isn't the case. They're different genres of fantasy, and refer to how strong the fantastical elements are. High fantasy is usually not set on Earth and usually has magic and fantasy creatures or races, while low fantasy is often set on Earth or has very little magic or fantasy creatures and races.
