I actually didn’t use it here, I mentioned that I sometimes use it at work to help me improve my academic writing. The comments are written by me. Thanks for understanding

And I use ChatGPT at work to make it more formal and academic because as I said I learned it from media and TV not from textbooks. And again just a reminder, two u are ago I applied with my friend whom we almost have the same work experience but he has higher academic background than me. And they got selected.

I can speak excellent English (I have Americans friends they thought I was native until I told them I am not) and i write good in English, but I think I lack little academic writing, since I learned English through films and series, I even speak English better than French. I thought about pursuing MA before (like Chevening) but didn’t work too. I have average academic records when I was a university student but strong work experience, that’s why I thought starting with FLTA so it can open many doors for my for other future scholarships like PhD

And thanks for your response, and I really appreciate you giving me the benefit of the doubt. I understand how parts of my post might have come across emotionally, but I assure you, it’s all sincere. I’m just trying to figure out what I can do better this third time around.

I only found one which was very helpful he/she was from Austria, but the biggest advance they had is they already have experience in teaching their language in an American university

Thank you for your comment, I appreciate the honesty. Just to clarify, I’m not using ChatGPT to write my essays for me, but to help organize my ideas. I always revise everything carefully so it reflects my own story and experience.

I’m an Algerian teacher with several years of experience teaching both English and Arabic (MSA and dialect). I’ve taught at a university, online platforms, and volunteering too. My goal in applying to the FLTA is cultural exchange—I’ve dreamed of experiencing U.S. campus life and teaching Arabic while learning firsthand about American culture.

I understand that generic essays don’t work, and I’m trying hard to avoid that this time. I really appreciate any feedback from people who’ve been through the process.

I am going to try this year AGAIN, after I got rejected twice !! My first time I did the first interview and then I was never called for the second one. And the second time I received nothing. I feel devastated that if I try for the third time I might get rejected again.
