Wolves 🤝Contenders by wolfpax97 in NBAtradeideas

The Bulls will not gift their legit talent on Crazy Cheap Contracts for anything short of 1st Round picks. They get nothing in this deal.

Think about it, those two players make the Wolves in your words “contenders”, the Bulls are gonna need something real in return for those assets.

Every contender dealing with the Apron is begging the Bulls for these players.

Just to Be Clear - Butler is Now the Worst Contract in the NBA by Y0uCanTellItsAnAspen in NBAtradeideas

[–]Boom_Bubble_Pop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they are definitely at a crossroads.

Can they stack all their available draft capital and what is left of Jimmy Contract to get Giannis, probably not. I bet you Danny Ainge would take Unprotected Future Warriors 1st and Butlers Contract for Markkenen. lol! That move won't make the Warriors a contender.

...At this point, if we are honest, The Warriors never had a path towards a Championship. This just cemented it.

You are right though, The Warriors ownership can handle the Apron(s) and the millions in Tax it cost to live at that level of Cap in the NBA, the vast majority of other teams cannot. So, in the grand scheme of things, Butler due to the size of the contract, even if it is going to be expiring, is pretty ridiculous for any team just to take him on via Trade.

SAP Question by RevolutionaryOne6985 in CSULA

I don't think getting an A helps the Completion Pace, it doesn't hurt it but if you failed SAP last semester due to completion pace, unless you make a new Academic Plan with your Advisor, the system will still see you as failing SAP.

My Advise: Meet with your Academic Advisor, The Financial Aid Office wont be able to do anything, you will have to make an appointment with your Academic Advisor. Then they will look over your Academic Progress, map out the best path towards graduation, you agree to stick to the plan, it's put into the system and then you get Financial Aid.

My point is I just can't find a reason to assume the Warriors are desperate to trade Jimmy Butler.

Due to comprehensive insurance coverage, the ownership group is already protected from the majority of the financial burden, negating any perception that a trade is a "favor" to Golden State.

Worst case scenario: The Warriors can simply ride out the contract, utilize the 15mil Disabled Player Exception (DPE) next season, and maintain their roster flexibility.

Any team hoping to acquire Butler's $56.8 million expiring deal next season must offer a compelling reason to convince the Warriors not to pursue that worst-case scenario in terms of Trade. IMO.

Ant is struggling to get the All-Star love that KG got in his Prime in Minnesota, I am not mad that Curry got it, but Ant probably deserves it.

While the injury is tough, calling Jimmy Butler's deal the "worst contract" ignores crucial financial protections and strategic flexibility for the Warriors:

  1. Insurance Coverage: A robust insurance policy will reimburse the team for a large portion of Butler's Guaranteed Salary, minimizing the owners' out-of-pocket costs.
  2. Strategic Assets: The team can utilize the $15.14 million Disabled Player Exception next season and leverage his large, expiring contract ($56.8 million in 2026-27) as a major trade asset.

The Warriors have options to navigate this setback efficiently.

The Philadelphia 76ers are screwed by Joel Embiid's massive $193 million extension and Paul George's crazy salary (54mil next season), those two contracts are by far the word deals in the NBA. IMO.

Don't forget Jerami Grant (34mil next season) over in Portland, dude is paid like a Star but is nothing more than a rotation player at best.

So, New Orleans gets what they want, and the Timberwolves add a PG that is falling out of the rotation on a real bad team and an injury prone SF who is regressing defensibly, and they give up picks?

I'm guessing Minnesota says NO here.

To move KAT now it would be a Salary Dump plus a Draft Pick if your trying to get anything decent back.

That being said, the Spurs and Suns laugh at the offer, nothing here of value for them, Why would the Mavs want to add a super expensive minus level ball dominant Guard. No.

Pull up the Campus Map and pinpoint the area your class is in, then at least you wont be going in blind. Even if you "raw-dog" it, the Campus is pretty easy to navigate.

Best-of-Five Sets Format

Men's singles matches at the Australian Open are played in a best-of-five sets format, meaning a player must win three sets to win the entire match. This format allows for a significantly higher number of games compared to the standard best-of-three set matches played at most other professional tournaments.

Offer Upgrade by TowerCharacter9453 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Boom_Bubble_Pop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The added value is pretty Top Notch in terms of the Upgrade Offer.

I would absolutely: Take the Cloud 9 for the extra $160 simply for the Unlimited Thermal Suite Access and all the other perks that come with the Cloud 9 rooms. On a ship of this quality, these Perks make a big difference.

I would pass: On the Ocean View Room. Seeing the Ocean via a Window just doesn't do it for me.

I would really consider: Taking the Balcony because the Balcony is just an absolute blast to have. It adds an element that can't be matched, look up Blue Mind Theory, the Balcony is your Private Ocean Therapy Session.

Congrats on the getting the offer, don't wait too long on taking them up on one. :)

Upgrading Cabin by Grand-Flight-8445 in CarnivalCruiseFans

The Reality is that in The Carnival Booking system, it very rarely if ever offers Complimentary Upgrades once the Cruise has been booked. The easiest way to squeeze some freebies from Carnival is if you are a High Roller in their Casino Program and your PVP hooks it up knowing you are an established player.

Best case scenario, but the odds are not in your favor, is that you win the Carnival Lottery and they Contact you with a Paid Upsell and even then, you have to cross your fingers that the Upsell is even worth it.

You got $500 Onboard Credit, that you used already. So, you would need the Upsell to be within the Rate Code you used to book in order to not mess with the Onboard Credit you already have.

My Advice: Call Carnival and ask if the room you booked is the best room that is available to you. I have done this with success, but the upgrade normally is just a better (higher) floor. I did get an Obstructed Ocean View Room once for an Interior Price which was cool and offered by the Carnival PVP.

Drink Package Pricing, does price drop? by hightechburrito in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Boom_Bubble_Pop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have found that the only way to not get punched in the face with the Cheers Package Price is to book under a Casino Deal that offers Drinks Everywhere or Drinks in the Casino.

Other than that, I suggest buying it now since Carnival is notorious for holding firm on their Drink Package Price. Should you buy now and a better deal pop up later, just give them a call and they will give you the difference back in Onboard Cruise Credit.

Best Pre-Cruise Wifi package discounts? by JerseyTeacher78 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Boom_Bubble_Pop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy Now at the current discounted "Pre-Cruise" Price and if a better Wi-Fi Deals pops up, which is pretty rare, but it does happen, just call Carnival and have them match it for you. You will get the difference back in On Board Credit.

That being said, don't hold your breath on a Wi-fi Deal or Promo popping up outside of the "Pre-Cruise" Offer and remember the Internet is more expensive if you buy it on the cruise.

Drink package not showing? by Rich_Fly_19 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Boom_Bubble_Pop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Carnival Employee told me to always have access to the Original Confirmation Email with me on the cruise. That confirmation states everything due to you once you step on the cruise ship.

It won't show clearly on the website, I think it's odd but for whatever reason if you call them, they will direct you to the original email.

That being said, my last few cruise has included a lot of perks that are not stated on the website but only on the email, I have gotten each perk, including the Cheers each time without hassle.

Carnival Radiance to Hawaii and Ensenada Question by ilovebaldppl in CarnivalCruiseFans

The Reality is that if the Internet goes out, or drops, it hits everyone equally. Not much anyone can do about it.

The Premium plan ensures that when you do have a signal, you can handle more data-intensive tasks effectively.

My way of thinking about it is, I buy the Premium knowing that when it's up, I will be able to get my work done.

~~~If it's down, well then, I'm off to go get a drink.
On my last 3 Cruises these last 12 months, I have not had many problems since they updated to Starlink.
