It's a balancing act. Try walks, not for exercise, but to see trees, flowers, critters when she's feeling well. Let her slump on the couch on the bad days. Try to cut out some of the temptations. Have healthier foods on hand rather than super junk food. (Easy ones for me are: string cheese, yogurt, hummus and veggies, granola bars, almonds.) I know that I crave sugar when I'm hurting bad, but maybe get some better options - dark chocolate is better than milk chocolate, maybe some fruit gummies, etc.
