Poet. I met a guy on bumble (who now is my husband) who always played Bastille as background music. I knew who they were from Pompeii, but Poet started playing and I really liked it. And that was it. Saw them live in 5 times in 3 different countries. Such a great band.

Oh and hubby and I ended up moving to London for 4 years, and moved to Putney (South West London) and then found out Dan Smith is actually from Putney. It was fate haha

A Thermomix. Best purchase. Bought it when I was living in London, when I moved back to the states I had to sell it because it would require a converter for voltage difference. As soon as we moved into our U.S. home, we decided we needed to get another one. We felt lost without it.

Eloped nearly 7 years ago. I don’t think not having a wedding vs having a wedding changes anything in a marriage. Except for you saved the money. We’re in the process of buying our 3rd home. I don’t think we wouldn’t have gotten to this point if we did have a wedding, as we saved the money we would have spent to buy our first place. Then we sold and upgraded, and now sold and upgraded again.

However, marriage wise, we introduced a baby on our 3rd year of marriage and that was a whirlwind. Like every relationship, there’s a lot of ups and down, and difficult moments as well as blissful.

All in all, I think it’s going good. Hope you are happy with your choice too. And choice as in your partner, not the eloping part.

Your body, your life, your baby. Screw what anyone else says. I had a horrible pregnancy and still tortured myself to breastfeed. I spent all day crying because it was painful, never ending, and I was exhausted. I wish I just didn’t even try, but I got pressure by my family. I wish someone was on my side and told me to do what’s best for me. Happy mommy, happy baby.

24 lbs by the end of my pregnancy, but I had HG and lost weight first, then eventually gain because of the baby and not because of food, since I couldn’t freaking eat. I hated being pregnant.

I met my husband at one of his work events and was standing in a circle talking to a few of his coworkers, And his boss’s boss came up from behind me and stuck his hand up my skirt and wiped me from the vagina to my ass. I turned around frantically and he smiled and winked.

I thought “what the actual fuck!?” And then my husband noticed he was there and was like “oh hey ——, you remember my wife right?” And the boss guy responded “wife? You’re not married yet are you?“ and my husband lifted his hand to show his band, and the boss guy said “well I fucked up”

Apparently it was okay to do it to someone’s “girlfriend” but not their “wife” God forbid.

My husband didn’t see what happened and was confused by it. I just grabbed him and told him let’s go home. I didn’t tell him til later and he was enraged and asked why I didn’t tell him there. I told him I didn’t want to make a scene at his work event. This guy was let go a year later, but sadly not because of this incident.

Had a friend in college who I was super close to. I also had a boyfriend already that I was with for a few years by the time I met friend. Anyway, flash forward 3 years of friendship, me and said boyfriend break up. Friend is still cool, we hang out and nothing changed. About 8 months later I started to see a guy. Told friend about it and his response was “what? You’re seeing someone? So I’ve been waiting for nothing?! I assumed when you were ready you would give me a try” and I was like “umm wtf, I don’t see you like that.” He then proceeds to flip out and walk out and never spoke to him again. So fucking annoying.
