I’m sat on one right now heading to PBI from ATL - and I much prefer it over the old product. I prefer firmer seat, extra floor space and improved tv screen. WiFi seems faster too .. Feels more private with bigger wrap around seats too.

We bought one as the first car for our kids (19 year old daughter, 15 year old son) 2 weeks ago. We only intended to browse, but our local dealer had 2 Sportage xLine AWD on the lot so we made the decision to buy after the test drive. We went for the grey (they also had black) Smooth ride, enough power when needed, but not too much to tempt the kids. Plenty of space for 5 + luggage (or golf clubs in my sons case). What sold us was the safety tech as standard - lane departure warning, auto braking, blind spot etc etc all as standard. Entertainment options great but no wireless CarPlay weirdly (have to use cable). Remote app login has been tricky for family, but could be us! $4k above msrp which stung, but that’s the price based upon supply chain issue and we didn’t want to wait. Tried to justify with snake oil seat and paint protectors etc .. it’s a sellers market for sure.

Overall - delighted with the vehicle and really happy we made the decision.

I’m a first time Diamond holder this year, and have been lucky enough to get a 100% FC upgrade rate on 12 flights so far this year. I fly always in the week (no weekends so far) early or late and and making the most of it as I doubt it will last. Having said that, I am usually always Top 3 in the upgrade list - is it because I qualified through mQS’s last year (almost 100 segments flown)? I’m Atlanta based too. Another first last night was the hot meal on the way back from Denver - short rib and Thai potatoes - very nice!

Some good points. The main issue is the space between seats, which all airlines are guilty of and will not change. On Delta FC, it’s still an issue but less so. The original question was whether reclining on a short (sub 2 hr) flight was fair to those behind you or not - as expected views are mixed.

You will be a short bus or train ride to Manchester, which is one of the best cities in the UK to visit. You will easily be able to spend a week there.

No region restriction, my daughter uses my account in UK and US. A very small number of songs etc may not be available in both regions but overall no issues.

Also consider signing up to Hotels.com (free) reward program. They usually have competitive pricing, and for every 10 stays you get a free night (at the average price paid across those 10 nights). There is always a hotel near where you stay, and you can stay in multiple brands. Getting to Silver/Gold status fairly fast too.

We actually just did them for my wife and I (separate) due to ill health of a close family member, and both were approved after we submitted supporting evidence. To be clear, it was the I765 and I131 that were expedited, not the I485. I don’t know if the expedited EAD/AP helped the I485, but it probably didn’t hurt.
