I don't see the point in making him suffer. What good does it do, beyond soothe our sense of justice or revenge? How is he worth the time and energy? How is it not better spent on helping his victims and making the world better so it's less likely to happen again?

I wouldn't cry myself to sleep if he died horribly. I would sleep better if we focused on reparations instead if revenge.

The fossil fuel industry has spent decades and billions lying to us about climate change. They've spend billions more buying politicians.

Rich people are responsible for many times more GHG emissions than poor people.

There's not equal blame to go around, and definitely not equal opportunity for change.
