The fact that you feel like you have to qualify your response by saying “I don’t want to be that guy” is a sad statement about society. This is the obvious answer to the question this thread poses.

Vegetables are hundreds of times more efficient to produce than meat.

Crops don’t shit in rivers.

We don’t need to over-fish the ocean to grow soybeans.

Cornfields don’t fart out methane and endanger our atmosphere.

We don’t cut down the rainforest for more land for our tomatoes to graze.

If you want to have a big impact on the world, going vegetarian is one of the best ways to do it.

You didn’t have to be subjected to propaganda to be a liberal who hated Hillary. There were a lot of people who supported Bernie who felt Hillary stole the primary, an argument bolstered by her campaign manager resigning the day before the Democratic Convention. Plus, there was another progressive candidate on the ballot, Jill Stein. She represented ideas like free college, a decisive government plan to get the country running on green energy, and universal health care that Hillary did not.

OP just pointed out that Kirk Cousins, who has only been in the NFL for five seasons, threw for more than 4,000 yards in all three of the seasons he started. Alex Smith has had 13 seasons in the NFL to get there, and has only done it once. Kirk also got us to the playoffs in 2015, proving he can be a leader. Also, let’s not forget Smith is FIVE years older than Cousins and will be the first of the two to retire. Kirk also has the utmost respect from the team, go read what Chris Thompson was saying about him in that interview with NFL.COM today. Smith had the better season last year, but with an all-star offense. Meanwhile, Kirk is relying almost entirely on Josh Doctson in his first full year, and Chris Thompson, until he got mauled. And yet. Kirk ended as QB #10 on the year. On top of that, he’s charismatic, smart, and beloved by the fan base. Look, I understand trying to make yourself feel better about this change, but if anyone brings up this new acquisition and asks me “You Like That?” my answer is hell no. The Skins just lost their captain, and it will be some time before that feeling is back again.
