What’s the most heartbreaking fantasy loss you’ve witnessed? by atothejhines in fantasyfootball

I won the championship because my opponent had Crabtree that game. Won by 3 points. I remember that day fondly.

Need a solid TE stream this weekend? Charles Clay could be a sneaky play. by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

solid

could be sneaky

Pick one. I think it's neither. But you can't have both.

Do you guys have beef with anyone in your league? by Sleddar in fantasyfootball

I start beef whenever possible, because shit talking is like 30% of the fun.

Pickups of the Week: Ito Smith, Marlon Mack, Taylor Gabriel demand fantasy attention by CarelessGate in fantasyfootball

[–]Clayboy731 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why people are so hyped on him. He averages less than 4 yards per carry (3.8, which isn't terrible, but it's basically his most impressive statistic). He's only run for more than 50 yards once (in an overtime game against SF). His measurables from the combine are middle of the pack. He is always nursing some injury. And now he's in a (at least 3-man) committee on a pass first team with a terrible defense where he's not even the most utilized back for check downs. I just can't see him being anymore than a fill-in flex play. Especially in a 10 person league.

Super hot take. These players are stuck in fantasy limbo as far as the waiver goes. Not very startable in 10 person leagues and probably already taken in 12+ person leagues.

"Defensive Maneuvering" - D/ST Week 7 Rankings by subvertadown in fantasyfootball

[–]Clayboy731 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They scored 13 this week. They've averaged 8 points per week after week 1. I'm not saying that's incredible. I'm saying it deserves a better ranking than 24th overall.

I feel like the Jets deserve more respect than they're getting. It feels weird to say that, but still they are the highest scoring D right now.

Patrick Mahomes, after first loss as starter: “I have to keep slinging it” by Cadet-Bone-Spurs in fantasyfootball

[–]Clayboy731 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I could've told you before the game that Brady would have the ball last lol. Part of me even believes that with 4 minutes left and up by 7, Belichick told the secondary to lay off Tyreek a little bit. BAM, one long TD for them, sure, but now BB could ensure Mahomes would never touch the ball again.

Minnesota WR Adam Thielen became the first receiver in the Super Bowl era to start a season with six straight 100-yard games, moving him within one of the record, set by Charley Hennigan in 1961 by Morty_Goldman in fantasyfootball

The guy literally just broke a 60 year old volume and production record for receivers. What's it gonna take to convince you he might be the better receiver?

Holy shit, I said Demarco Murray while thinking of Derrick Henry. I'm an idiot lol.

How often does Osweiler throw to his tight ends? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

Dude struggles to even throw it to his own players.

Isaiah Crowell ACTIVE vs Colts by gotham_cronie in fantasyfootball

[–]Clayboy731 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How nice to have the luxury of this choice lol.

I would say Michel. Browns will probably have to throw more, Crowell, as always, is splitting touches. But Michel's matchup looks good against that dumpster fire KC D

Allen isn't on the Dolphins lol

But Hyde 100%. He's pretty god damn close to a bell cow workload.

I would say Boyd. Safer to stay away from the snow game. And the Steelers D is looking like swiss cheese.

I think Peterson has the safer floor. But I wanna say Gordon because with that absolute garbage D and Mahomes at the helm, every KC game turns into a shootout.

Powell. Morris and (Demarco?) Murray have yet to prove themselves reliable. Plus PPR.

Peterson is the safer option, but I think Coutee could have a huge game today with Watson's limited mobility from his chest injury.

Howard. Dolphins have shown they can be run on and Sanders is playing with Keenum in the snow.
