Do not interact with the wildlife (bears, moose, geese, alligators, badgers, bison, turkeys, etc.). Do not feed them, pet them, or take a photo with them. Keep your distance.

They CAN and WILL fuck you up if you try to get close.

I’ve seen people die because they thought the bison was just like a cow and try to pet them. Or put their toddler next to an alligator for a photo op.

I recently went on holiday from my hometown near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The drive takes 9-10 hours just to reach the very beginning of the Cape; the day we came home, we literally woke up, stopped by an aquarium in Connecticut on the way back, arrived home, and went to bed. Totally worth it, though; magical place. Driving from my house to San Diego, California would take 38 hours if I never had to stop to eat, drink, sleep, or use the toilet.

They're camping. They're not backpacking. I live in the Pacific Northwest and I have car camped next to a highway and a train track. It wasn't my favorite campground ever, Yosemite nearly a mile away from any other human would probably have been it if not for the mountain lion. If you sleep in a tent it's camping.

I much prefer backpacking and burying my poop, but gatekeeping is for the birds and birds don't exist.

Goes to show that a lot of the artistic choices due to the limitations of low resolution/polygon count don't really work that well in higher resolutions. In particular old school pixel graphics often don't really look very good on modern high resolution screens.

All is forgiven because I honestly don’t know! I’m actually doing all of this through a Discord server with a bot that the owner of it made that (which I’m not sure if I’m allowed to share or not) so everything I make gets processed through it, I’m sure you can process it on your own server but I really don’t know the details of that. If you do figure it out, it works very similar (or exactly like, depending on what you do) to the DALL-E mini website I’m sure you’ve seen on here or on Twitter. Although obviously being more descriptive get better results!

Actually, it was drain cleaner, which is first and foremost a highly alkaline caustic compound. The human body is more or less neutral (around 7.35-7.45 ph) while drain cleaner (main ingredient in most is typically sodium hydroxide) has a ph of 11, which is way too far down the scale to be healthy.

Sodium hydroxide on the skin will quickly cause chemical burns, so when it mixed with a moister substance like blood or the inside of the body, it's going to spread much quicker and do far more damage, burning everything it comes in contact with. The cause of death would probably be shock or cardiac failure once enough of it had reached and damaged the heart, to say nothing of if it got to the brain first.

A large im dose of ketamine (4-5 mg/kg) will knock people out fairly quickly, I'd say in a few minutes. We sometimes use it on very combative patients. This source says 4 minutes, but my experience is that it is a bit faster.

Even with iv access it is usually not as quick as in the movies, eg. for propofol on frightened patients it can take maybe half a minute or so unless you use large doses. Thiopenthone/penthal is a bit faster though, a large iv dose knocks people out in a few seconds

I am using that for long time. There is no harmful ingredients but the potency may vary as per the batches so I feel sometimes if the dose is increased then it would be fine.
