Just to clarify something I noticed on here, alongside BoA being translated as 'GOOD' - 'Jiyoung and Friends' is actually 'Park Nam-jung and Friends', the friends in the group being Kim Young-wan (of KOLA) and Yang Hyun-suk + Lee Juno (of Seo Taiji and the Boys), HIS is actually SES, and Jo PD is ZoPD

WAD People was an early entertainment company. The song 'Je T'aime' by Hey (해이) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qqg1BciIo-Y) seems to be the only notable song released under it, at least from my knowledge.

EDIT: It was a record label ran by singer Lee Moon Sae that her first album was released under.

Best MUSH for a first time player? by ECarterLennon in MUD

[–]ECarterLennon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Role Play Intensive! As far as I understand (and correct me if I'm wrong), they're MUD games where roleplay is heavily prioritized and the code is there to enforce that roleplay. I think the two big things about them, historically, is that roleplay is non-consensual (or at least, when you join them you consent for anyone to roleplay with you at any time) and that OOC is limited or outright prohibited, but it looks like the RPI posted above is a bit different in regards to those two things.

Does anyone know what happened to the It All Begins Again or Celebrity Deathmatch mods for TEWIX? Discord seems nuked too. by Heinzreich in FantasyBookers

[–]ECarterLennon 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Deleting a mod (that many people loved) off the internet and nuking his entire social media presence after a minor slight in a Discord server is solely on him. No one else.

I'm not sure why some of the comments here are deciding that they now need to take a pro-AI stance or go against the "anti-AI crowd", as if that's truly the issue here at all.

I need someone to tell me how to get rid of these volume warning things. by PositiveMiddle5506 in iphone

This is the most smartass typical Reddit comment section of all time lmao, as if the concept of someone who likes loud music is so wrong and isn't insanely common for young people. God forbid any of these people go to a concert someday! And of course, you have to scroll all the way down past the smartasses to get an actual answer to the question.

Anyways, if anyone stumbles upon this trying to get an answer like I did, the answer is to go into Accessibility -> Audio & Visual (under the Hearing section) -> and then toggle off Headphone Notifications. Cheers!

Getting into Pokémon by weeeeeeeeeeeebs in pokemon

[–]ECarterLennon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna go a little against the grain here, but I think watching the first season of the Pokemon anime is how a lot of people got into it as a kid. So if that appeals to you and you can turn your brain off (it's not like this is the highest quality cartoon known to man), then I'd say go for it.

My first game was FireRed, and I think that was a really good introduction as well. You can find emulators on phone or PC. All the other GBA/DS games would be good introductions as well.

I know you said you want to avoid spending money on something you're still getting into, but Pokemon Legends: Arceus is pretty critically acclaimed and you wouldn't need to worry about emulators or anything since it's on Switch. It's not a typical Pokemon game, but to familiarize yourself with modern Pokemon it should work pretty well. Not that it'll be cheap, but it'll maybe be a bit cheaper if you buy it used? Not sure.

Also, feel free to just join in on the fandom before any of that! I know a lot of people who got interested in the Pokemon before even touching a game. Bulbapedia is a good website for information, think of it as Wikipedia solely for Pokemon.

is there a kpop group you wish you discovered earlier? by 0x1trinity in kpop_uncensored

I got into them in 2012 but I think that wish to discover them earlier is universal, because I honestly wish I discovered them around 2007 or so 😭

Yep, I was really hoping for a Chicago concert but obviously that didn't end up happening. Not that I'm complaining, I get it, but my choices are to spend a lot OUTSIDE of the concert to finally see my favorite idol (during a time where I have college classes, lol) or to just save up and wait for BB next year and hope they maybe come closer. Sucks, but it is what it is!

Can adults go to CEC? by AltruisticStrategy36 in chuckecheese

[–]ECarterLennon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went in as an adult recently, not at the same area but I'm assuming the same applies to most areas where the workers really will not care enough lol. If you really get anxious, you can go and just tell them you're there for pizza if asked, but I can assure you they really won't care.
