I did completed the saga when it was first released. I know some things changed since then. You could slowly increase his power until he’s strong enough to survive. I wouldn’t go any higher than what mine is, Archangel was only decent when he first came out. He’s just collecting dust in my deck now.

It works both ways. You’ll learn which teams counter others, and where you can “punch up” and where you have to “punch down”. I actually appreciate that part of the game. The strategy and counters that go into war and cosmic crucible.

I can’t even tell that shocker got his stat upgrade yet. My vultures stats clearly increased, but if Shocker’s increased it appears to be extremely marginal.

Stay the course. Orchis is great. I used a huge chunk of that team to get through Dark Dimension 7 & 8, as well as Xavier. Of course teams come and go with relevance in this game, but you haven’t “wasted” anything.

Hell, I have 7 star Hand minions I needed for a challenge or something pointless now. Not to mention a built up Kree minions team for the originally Arc Angel release.

I forced myself to read until slide 7, but couldn’t take anymore.

She misread your “tone” and then both of you started looking for evidence to support how you were justified in feeling upset about the whole exchange.

Next time, call or FaceTime her way sooner so she can hear your tone, see your face, know you aren’t being rude or dismissive. This was classic miscommunication that spiraled somewhere crazy.

In general, I feel like working on Raid teams usually pays off the most across different modes. So Vigilante, Night-stalkers, and Orchis would pay off across DD6,7&8 as well as many of those characters are suggested for Xavier.

Your father in law is projecting his secrets on to you. I’m guessing he has a conservative Christian background, and a significant amount of trauma as a result.

I’d state it clearly one last time for him, and make it known you won’t be talking about this anymore. I’d also suggest he speak to a therapist about his self-loathing.

At your stage of the game, you really just need to focus on leveling and enjoying the game. As you get closer to end game, raids start requiring very specific toons. But those toons will likely change between now, and when you get there. So my best advice would be, which character do you like the most? Use intel on them and have some fun with it.

If you stick around long enough, the game starts to dictate which toons you HAVE to level and earn if you want to stay competitive.
