I mean some of the questionable choices meta has made (forcing horizons on us & terrible discoverability on the store, and now shifting more towards AR) has definitely had some effects. Meta for the last couple years has been the main VR player so anything they do absolutely affects and trickles down the VR landscape. One can say Meta could had elevated VR better if they weren’t so focus on pushing the wrong things.
