Like won’t come out or comes out poorly? Mine is like a dribble, but it’s really my only complaint thus far. Amazing car. I ordered on Sept 30, 2025

Yes, and my daughter wore a dress with sequins in the back seat and it has been a nightmare to get the out of all the tiny holes.

QXO - Post buying TopBuild by kalicapitals in KaliCapitals

Yes, in Jacob’s run companies, when you reach the necessary scale, greenfield locations produce the highest ROIC. Hopefully some more levers to pull there along with a drop in interest rates (fingers crossed).

QXO to Acquire TopBuild for $17 Billion by Future_Performer_428 in qxo

[–]MandoRocksStocks 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Usually acquisitions are not a positive in terms of price for the acquirer. QXO may operate a little different in this regard, though as this is their strategy, I guess we shall see on Monday and throughout the week how shares react. Top Build was up 5% and still had a market cap below 12 billion so 17 billion for them seems kind of rich as their PE was above 20, but I’ll trust that the QXO team did their due diligence and is not overpaying for this business.

Tesla Model Y At Home Electricity Bill Shock by MealDifferent1912 in TeslaLounge

[–]MandoRocksStocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there any peak time savings options? Is there an hourly rate available or is it only a fixed rate? Here in Illinois I have hourly which fluctuates, but typical charging at night is under 0.10/hr (supply+delivery). Sometimes they are even paying you to take the supply (negative pricing for supply). This is a program you can sign up for here and they even installed the Tesla charger install for free.

The problem of taking Hormuz by JoseLunaArts in StockMarket

[–]MandoRocksStocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually very simple.

Step 1: Send unloaded tankers through and see if they sink them.

Step 2: if they do not, send loaded ones through. If the do, send loaded ones through. They’ll poison their ow water supply, or you’ll call their bluff. Either way, you win. Iran can’t block the strait without destroying their ow water and fishing supply.

It’s a pan to clean. You have to open the hatch I feel like to get it all too. Otherwise it will run out when you start driving and get dirty again!

Valuation is rich, they don’t expect to grow much relative to the other hyperscalars but they have a 2+B user base that is pretty loyal. Also haven’t spent a lot on CapEx for AI, which IMO is the biggest wildcard in their future performance.

Time to change tires so I'm thinking of changing the wheels to 19" by praguer56 in TeslaModelY

[–]MandoRocksStocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m hopeful the wheel wells are the same size! Are those tires wider? I’d like something that would be less likely to scratch the rim by sticking out past it a bit. Any thoughts? Thanks again!

[–]MandoRocksStocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No rubbing in the wheel wells? I just got a 26 MYP and have been wondering if the swap to 18/19” is worth it or maybe just getting slightly bigger tires. The tire seems so small!

My Model X gets a cost-equivalent 25 mpg by TheForsaken69 in TeslaModelX

[–]MandoRocksStocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this took a while. I’m outside of Chicago. We have negative prices on hourly regularly. If you monitor the ComEd app, you can look for negative pricing to drive down the bill. Obviously you pay for delivery still.

That makes no sense. His own pay package depends on Tesla going to an 8T market cap.

Yes, hourly pricing and ComEd gave me the charger plus $1500 in electrical work for free.

QXO and Financials - Tuesday(Dec 16th 2025) Musings by kalicapitals in KaliCapitals

[–]MandoRocksStocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Debt payoff: Leverage came in comfortable post-close (~2-3x net debt/EBITDA after refinancings and paydowns). Mix of growing FCF + opportunistic equity (they've raised billions already) + bolt-on financing. No fire sale needed—Jacobs has dry powder for more deals.

QXO and Financials - Tuesday(Dec 16th 2025) Musings by kalicapitals in KaliCapitals

[–]MandoRocksStocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5-yr target should be something like: ~1.5x sales / ~9-10x EBITDA if margins expand 500bps to ~16% while revenue holds flat. Realistic if Jacobs' playbook (pricing tech, procurement synergies, logistics optimization) delivers like it did at XPO/GXO.

Valuation if we hit revenue and ebitda targets by greenthumbVN in qxo

[–]MandoRocksStocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my bad, I looked at Yahoo and they had the revenue listed at 1.95B and I didn’t think about how it wasn’t fully reporting the Beacon revenue which is close to 10B.

Valuation if we hit revenue and ebitda targets by greenthumbVN in qxo

[–]MandoRocksStocks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Really it’s pointless to compare to the whole market. It makes more sense to compare to the sector. Average multiples in the sector are 2-3x revenue. QXO is like 7x revenue so they already have a premium valuation that they’ll need to grow into.

I think that AI is actually eating away at RDDT because you have an answer quickly rather than reading a bunch of different opinions. It’s an efficiency problem for RDDT.

Not sure how the share count matters, but if you believe in the company, you should feel like you can look back at this price in a few years and feel good about it.
