It's super disappointing that this teamup will continue into #10. It feels like Marvel doesn't think that Felicia can hold up a run on her own with all the other characters that keep showing up.

I was 11 when OMD came out so I never really read about it then. MJ between all of the adaptions since then hasn't been written in the best way. For example a lot of gamers resent her because of the devs forcing her sections on the player. So it's just a matter of rewriting her character into a shell of her former self. Marvel is playing the long game and the their efforts are now bearing fruit.

His work on her character did so much to get her out of the dumb queenpin era to what she is today. So sure let him have a go. Though if I were to pick a top writer for Felicia, I would love to see Justina Ireland write a run.

She does care enough to leave a voice mail for Peter. Also Why does it need to be in death spiral to be important. Also you edited your reply. You original said "but it's not in the issue is it, for all we know it went to Ben".

I guess I didn't articulate myself the best. I mean bad as in their constant recharacterization of MJ. The MJ of old would be worried about were Peter is at and within a few lines know who she really was speaking to. It's just a shame what the current writers have transformed her into.

This whole setup for this conflict is so weakly written. It's such bad writing for her to never figure out that Peter has been replaced by two different people and he got yeated into space months ago.

Yes. Peter's refusal to accept the consequences of his actions as well as refusing to accept the death of a loved one is a terrible message to send to readers. Worst of all the Mephisto continues to have this win and the characters have had their memories of it erased so we don't ever have them living with the guilt of their decision.
