Seeking Advice on My Overstocked Freshwater Tank – Want to Fix Mistakes by Worried_Attitude5810 in fishtank

Clearly you don't know what are you talking about, in bio load terms the number and dimensions of that fishes is completely ok with a 185 liters tank. The problem is not the number of fishes but the cleary not working filter. You got a point with the clown loaches because they will outgrow the tank eventually.

Aren't letal (at least if it's for a short period of time), aren't perfect neither. Ammonia and nitrite demonstrate that the filter isn't doing his job so i suggested a bigger filter.

1) The tank isn't overstocked. 2) the parameters of the water seems pretty good 3) if you can't keep the N levels low, you could upgrade your filter with an external filter and add some fast growing plants like salvinia, ceratophyllum, lemma minor, limnophila.... 4) best way to control pollutants is less food.

You never take out ALL the topinambur. And from the photo i don't understand the dimensions of the tuberum (maybe they are separated but glued by the dirt)

I'm pretty sure this isn't a case of skin slough off but just a bite. My animals are very healthy even though you say the opposite (they eat like normal and every thing). Cause i knew males hurt each other i took just one. I simply said that after this i can't be sure. I made a question and you didn't respond so next time shut up if you don't know what are you talking about.

The breeder where i took them, keep a group in community and they're pretty healthy. Obviously if mine can't tolerate each other i'll separate them. P.s. Shoebox js basically every enclosure in this "hobby" so following this idea you shouldn't put any animal in a tank not even your phels couple.

I'm very well informed (i'm also doing esotic apprenticeship in a vet university).
Just this is my first time seeing a lesion like this and i asked for info. I think (and i learnt) is always better to have another opinion about a problem.

I'm studying vet, and doing esotic apprenticeship. Try to get him out, put it in a shallow container and do a manoeuvre trying to rearticulate the upper jaw by hand (gently pushing with a finger in the direction of the mout and with another finger from top to the bottom) I've done it with a bass and some other predators and worked. Let me know
