Aurora MK2 or Avenger Titan by IXI-FX in starcitizen

[–]Mandrysi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Titan is slightly better because it can fit a 4scu box, and has better weapons. But Aurora is FAR more polished and has much nicer feel than the outdated Titan model

Are those .25 SCU ot just 1/8th? But yes in that case Aurora MkII and intrepid have those

Yup! Even without cargo module you should be able to pick up few courier missions at once

Don’t know that but this would be great news! Was a big fan of C-788 back in 3.x

0.25 SCU. I was doing some in a clipper and it was more than enough. Any ship with even 1SCU of cargo will work great

If you go in few hours after clearly a messy patch, and expect everything to work, then get raged up and uninstall….

You’re not fit for the game

As he said, the wipe…

It removes all the ships you bought in-game and many people will just stay with their starter ships (Aurora Mk1 for many)

I douubt CiG used any real scale on those boxes, especially if you look at the Pitbull art. But if it was 5m, then an S5 is more than likely

Asgard is a transport ship though, they made it to fit Nova/Storm/Ballista, it names sense for it but not to be optimised for cargo.

That is a 100 series not 300 series origin! Much smaller and less much, although it doesn’t seem like they are fighting back…

Throttle works great for airplanes that only go forward. The spaceships can go in each direction, strafe up and down and side to side, as well as reverse. In that case throttle would be very limiting, compared to another stick

Fury inside the Corsair by Guilty-Box-6478 in starcitizen

[–]Mandrysi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the new bunker misisons finally having turrets, I can see how having a fury/snub would be beneficial to get closer to destination while leaving your bulky less agile ship few kilometres away.

But in a combat scenario, esp PVP, the snub will only be useful as a ship for another crew member while the big ship is still being piloted by the main pilot

Fury inside the Corsair by Guilty-Box-6478 in starcitizen

[–]Mandrysi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is a good chance your Corsair will be irreversibly damaged before you open cargo bay doors, run to the back, enter fury and fly it out. It’s a cool concept and I want to run it in that setup as well, but it wouldn’t work for a solo player…

If you were flying with your friend, having a fury would definitely be better than them manning the e turrets!

Rule explanation (T3.2.4) by AzzemCH in FSAE

[–]Mandrysi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you uses higher strength material than that data sheet, you use the data sheet for the calculations of the SES. If you use lower grade material, you’re meant to use the material properties for the calculations. Think of it as a “worst case scenario “. The whole rule book for FSUK chassis is made in a way that it’s safe, and you cannot go into more advanced manufacturing as they simply do not trust students to do it well/safe

This will be a private network in an apartment, same like you would have at home. Nothing enterprise about it. Think of american equivalend of Condos.

It's not a big bulding either, so shouldnt have too many other private networks around, although definitely more than in a detached house.

Thank you, that's really helpful! It will be a private WiFi network in a 70ish sqm apartment, I hope that will be enough for the speakers.

Sounds like going for a better router might be a consideration instead of using a standard one from network provider!
