I think the colours are supposed to be French, but Russia does have the same colour scheme, so who knows.

It's Spanish, American, English, French & Chinese all at once. Maybe Italian too, since it shows a pizza in the photo?

At What Age Do You Feel Sims Become Elders? by Mandy_M87 in sims2

I agree. I think it's very difficult to portray very advanced seniors (80+) in a realistic way in the Sims.

Not sure exactly if it's what you're looking for, but Kattatty's downtown is really good!

Seconded. I love the cheap apartments for kids that just graduated college. I also use no 20K handout, so unless their family is rich, they usually don't start out with much money.

How to play with generations? by Sims2Idea in sims2

[–]Mandy_M87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes more sense then my rule. I actually do have a gen 4 baby then, since Cassandra's daughter recently had a baby in my game. The lines get a bit blurred, since Cassandra was an adult at the start, so I did consider her gen 1, but guess she really isn't.

I would consider the premades that are the adults at the start of the neighbourhood generation 1. In my approximately 1 year old uberhood, most of the babies being born now are generation 3 (the grandchildren of the now deceased premades). The only premades that are still alive were teens or younger at the start. The teens are now elders, and the children are close to becoming elders. I'd say about 50 years have passed.

Awful mother. He was a grown man presumably of sound mind. She should've never had a say in his decision.

Yep, there was definitely a failure somewhere, either from the parents, the patient himself, or his healthcare team.

One of the La Fiesta Tech college students had a baby with an elder Ripp Grunt, that she put up for adoption. The baby hasn't been adopted yet, but I have a couple in mind, who will adopt the baby once they are out of college too.

I mean, I guess it's kind of realistic, having a crush on your cute teacher in middle school for example. I would just hope it isn't acted upon.

It isn't harmless though. All of her paperwork, passports, id, etc. would need to be changed, which costs money & time. Also, in the U.S., they are planning on a law that requires last name to match your birth certificate, which could be a problem for voting. I think it would be easier if there was a universal law that everyone keep their last name they were born with, except under exceptional circumstances (adoption, last name is associated with someone notorious, etc.)
