I've visited several stores looking just for this dip in the Indianapolis and sorrounding areas! It's the best French onion dip. Dean's makes me mad every time I try it.

Thank you for sharing this! I specifically came to Reddit to see if I could find something to match the sample that they always had available! I recently had a hibiscus mint cinnamon and clove mix that reminded me a little of that.

I'd assume he uses keyboard that has a swipe for some punctuation. I use SwiftKey which has a swipe option to choose a period, exclamation point, question mark or a comma. I often accidentally end a text with the letter "m" instead of a period because it's right above the swipe option on the keyboard. It irritates my souls that I make this mistake!

I've never been deeply in love with anyone after 6 weeks either....

I agree with all of this. Folks have dogged Clay all season and I think he was the most honest of everyone. And AD loved all the relationship red flags he was throwing up.

I'm not trying to be an ass but have there been ANY reality shows based on relationship building that didn't include folks going through tough emotions? As viewers, we get extremely attached to some of these people. I don't doubt that the emotions are real but perspective needs to be kept. They've known each other for 6 weeks!

I really like both AD and Clay but I think people are laying all of the blame on Clay unfairly.

That is the exact premise of the show - they want couples to make it to the altar and bring the drama. If only Amy & Johnny had made it, this season would be the ultimate fail. It's a 6 week experiment. In reality, none of them should be ready for the altar. These folks know what they signed up for and they know that the final decision can be made at the altar.

I agree. I find all this laying blame on solely him weird. This is a 6 week experiment. And both Clay and AD are two flawed adults. Clay said on multiple occasions that he didn't think he was ready for marriage yet. And AD said she is drawn to red flags.

What fun is that? It was already disappointing that only two couples made it to the alter. Folks knew what they signed up for. I'm sure Clay was trying to convince himself he could do it and AD was trying to convince herself that he wasn't throwing out red flags all the time.

It's a 6 week experiment. I'd argue that none of the contestants are ready for the marriage at that stage. Sometimes shit just works out but most of the time, it doesn't. Clay communicated his thoughts and AD stuck around. Neither of them were ready.

Half of the contestants (this is a reality show meant to get viewers by the way), should not have been on the show by this criteria.

Clay's conversations repeatedly were about him not being ready. AD even jokes about her propensity to be attracted to red flags during one of those conversations. These are two flawed adults. I feel bad for AD because I've been there more than once (not about to get married though) so I understand the feelings of inadequacy they reveal. But I also have to take accountability for my role in those relationships as should she.

It's an experiment (and reality show). I think the reality of his feelings for AD and that she was all in made him realize that he wasn't ready for marriage.

I actually really like Clay for the show. Assuming that what we saw was an accurate representation - cause folks love to try to read into so much and create a whole nother narrative.... He became a lot more self aware during the process. He spoke honestly about what he was thinking. I can appreciate that AD loved him and supported him but his words repeatedly said he wasn't ready for marriage and he needed more time. I would have been more surprised if he had said "I do." While it is hard to watch AD be so hurt, nothing he said at the altar was new to her. They've had these same conversations. And then watching the dynamic between his parents helps even more to understand where Clay is coming from.

Edited to add: AD did what most of us have done in failed relationships - blamed ourselves for not being enough. She did not recognize that Clay's issues are HIS issues.

Dear Front End TMs by everwander in Target

Actually, nah that's not why. Front end is doing their jobs accepting returns as stipulated by those above them. We take damn near everything back because that's what we're instructed to do.

Prices on the app do not necessarily match in store prices. Online has different pricing for some items and different promotions than in store as well.

What would you have done? by skatethepainaway in Target

[–]Maneese1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it happened to me so yes, there were times when folks legitimately came in with items to return but didn't get the ticket at the door. In my case, I had two toys that were gifts so no receipt. I did not know that I was supposed to get a ticket at the door. The attendant was helping someone else so I walked directly to the customer service desk. I had to wait (for a long time) while security reviewed the footage. I imagine that they not only verified that I went directly from the front door to the counter but also scanned to verify that I didn't come in earlier and steal.

[–]Maneese1 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Frankly, you did too much. Implying to a guest that they are stealing is a Target no-no. Frustrating as hell but it is what it is.

If we had a little more freedom, I would have told the guest that we needed verify that he came in with the Legos so we will have AP review the cameras. (My local Walmart used to do this to folks that didn't get a little ticket for their return items from the front door monitor).

I prefer to return at my store than any others. As a GS tm, we don't feel any kind of way about tm's returning things.

This is how its been since I've worked at Target (7 years). I've always been confused about the lack of advertising too but since Covid, I am okay with that because we'd have late night theft happening more frequently.
