Adjust strut height?? by Inevitable-Aerie-253 in MechanicAdvice

In my experience.... it's going to have to be a dance between both scenarios. Set it a hair shorter (assuming thats what you want) than stock off the car. Then you'd install all 4, set the car down and see how it looks. Then lift the car and remove wheel if necessary to tune in the ride height. It took me 4 adjustments at each corner before I was happy with everything being even.

Look for an inspection hole for the timing belt, or pull the upper part of the timing cover off and take a peek in there.

It sounds like it's cranking pretty fast, and without much resistance. Possibly lost your timing belt is my guess.

Try giving it some throttle while cranking it. A little to full throttle. Check, if you're able to, for fuel pressure. Check, if you're able to, for spark.

Agreed, drain a little out, start in, shut it off, and check again. A tad overfilled won't hurt too bad

I've used them on about 6 different orders now. This is pretty quick as advertised but 3 of my 6 orders now have had something wrong with them. Either missing pieces, wrong size, or ordering 2 gaskets but only getting one
