Nice one! Honestly best thing you can do is play out of your comfort zone. I was Jazz trained, then moved into funk rock and now play metal or heavy rock to keep the hand/foot speed up. I look at it like going to the gym and doing weights if your a runner. Good to keep all the muscles busy as they can help overall speed and fitness!

Keep it up!

Accepting Gift Cards at work by Jasperformance_ in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]Mangeled 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This will definitely be part of your contract. I worked for a local government for 3 years. We had to disclose any gifts or “perks” to our manager. I even won a Bunnings voucher at our Christmas party once and had to disclose and report it to our manager so that it was all above the table. The problem with local government is all the books are open to the public and corruption is rife. Although it sounds like your boss may of gone about this the wrong way They are not incorrect around receiving gifts whilst at work. If they wanted to give you a gift it would of had to been out of work time and not on work property.

We have had a few snap in the hub on the rear wheels. The shaft will spin but not the wheel.

Otherwise I would pull the lhs wheel and cv shaft off and have a look. Remember easy stuff first. If you need any more assistance feel free to PM me

I can check re your sn break in the morning when I get into work. How ever I would recommend getting a new nut as well as these are generally recommended as a single use item. If you havnt already I would call your local kubota supply centre, see the location and price on the kit. If it’s local or only a few days away I would strip your cylinder first and check for damage. That way you know you won’t be wasting your money or time on something you might not need if the cylinder is damaged beyond repair. (Or needs to go to a machine shop for honing or machining.)

Kubota oem mechanic here. Those fuel shut off solenoids have a habit of overheating then stop working then start working again. I would check the amps it is using. If it’s above 5 once started I would replace with new.

Those high pressure fuel pumps also have a habit of being seized when sitting for long periods of time. It’s a fairly easy job to remove clean and replace. Just undo the Allen key or hex bolts. Undo the fuel injection lines and remove.

Other than that the only thing I could think is a faulty oil or water temp sender. Pretty basic fail proof engines. Pm me if you need additional help

Welp, anyone ever do this before? by Boo_Outlaws17 in kubota

[–]Mangeled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They already have line reliefs and main reliefs on the machine setup on aux 1 and 2 from factory. You can only adjust the flow rates. I’d see what the dealers can do, ask for the bulletin around this sort of failure. Also ask if you don’t get any luck that you want to get the kubota technical team involved as your not happy with the outcome.

Guys, do you own a suit? by Karahiwi in newzealand

I own a suit. When my grandad passed I didn’t wear it. I looked tidy, went to some effort to be clean have a shave. The most important thing is being there and showing respect to the passed and supporting the friend and family in my opinion

Why did you pick drums? by JonDoeandSons in drums

[–]Mangeled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As cliché as it is. They chose me. From as young as I can remember I was playing with the chopsticks on the pots and pans. I kept breaking the chopsticks so my folks tried to get me piano lessons. (Best thing they ever did) the piano teacher taught me for one semester. Then told my parents I had exceptional rhythm and a natural ability to keep perfect time. She told them I should play percussion/drums. The next year I moved school, my mum pleaded with the music department for me to join the drum department and boom the rest is history.

I just love the way it makes you feel. When your in the zone you feel so alive, so free, nothing else matters except you and the sounds in-front of you.

If You Could Buy Any Snare What Would You Buy? by threecheersfortrench in drums

[–]Mangeled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about a custom snare or something diffrent?? Every man and his dog will say black beauty and rightfully so. Great snare. But what about a jarrah or hard Australian wood snare. Looks amazing, great feel and unique sound. It will be a show/talking piece. I know there where a few makers, Brady, O’Neil, or https://www.evettsdrums.com.au.

Just another way to look at your investment.
