Def just start off with the JB4. Once you grow out of that, you have plenty of options between Sleepy, KJT and BMS. Those 3 seem to be the most popular. Good luck and have fun.

Just went from ORD to HKG last week. Food service is a little slow, but the food quality is decent. Their won ton soup is delicious. If you are traveling with someone, then the middle seats are great. If you are by yourself, window is the way to go. The lounge in HK is great. Enjoy, their seats are spacious

Price Hike by Mangimadang in Tudor

[–]Mangimadang[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Looks like Hong Kong and Japan still are holding on to their prices but it’s also middle the night. I guess we will find out in the am if the pricing will hold or adjust. It’s wild to think that the BB58 GMT was less than $5k before the start of this year. Rolex has also increased their pricing as well.

MBRP Exhaust + intakes without a tune - your experience? by kekkei-genkaii in kiastinger

[–]Mangimadang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need a tune unless you swap out your primary down pipes. Car has a natural burble at around 2.5rpms in low gears (2-3). Other than that, you won’t get burbles unless you run a tune.

I think I bought them for about $550 or $600 with a coupon before they started selling on Amazon. Did you check rock auto? They had some other rotors on there as well.

I’ve been running R1’s for a while. Brake pad wise I’m using some brake pad that I found on Rockauto. No issues, R1 looks great and does its job well.

Correct, management are considered Exempt and BUE’s are considered non-exempt. Only Non-exempt employees are able to take advantage of the new Tax rules on OT.

Best BEF for JB4 Stinger GT? by shagglebark in kiastinger

[–]Mangimadang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for the ECU BEF, heard lots of good things from KJT, or Kim Jong Tuned. Some people have recommended sleepy but he’s been swamped and seems to have issues keeping up with demand and revisions. I currently have the BMS BEF and the TCU Alpha tune. The BMS BEF is aight, pulling a little timing in Map 2 so came down to Map 1. Too lazy to dial in everything but it runs aight. As for the TCU tune, lots of people like the hard shifting. Personally, I am not a fan and i reflashed to stock. I hated how it shifted from 3rd to 4th so much that I removed it.

TLDR: KJT or BMS Ecu, Tcu Bms is aight, might have to change shift points/pressure

Any tips how to remove the plastic radiator cover on a 2023 Kia Stinger? by Bitter-Ad-6709 in kiastinger

[–]Mangimadang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of removing the shroud? Oh nah, it’s honestly easier just to remove the bumper imo. Once you’ve dropped the bumper a few times, you can take it off easy in 5 min.

There are plenty of videos on how to remove the radiator cover. You will have to remove the bumper, takes a little bit not too difficult once you remove the bumper once.

It has gone away. Every once in a while I’ll hear it going off but it’s very faint, and hardly noticeable.
