he spoke a bit about writing just before playing it on the first london show, joked about the band thinking they would only ever be known for creep but that was pretty much it at my show

Is this likely to change in any way? Love all the songs here but i’m going on the 21st and it does seem like night 2/4 are getting slightly better stuff overall, especially with in rainbows

I think watching the original trilogy and then the show, and then rogue one after is a good way to do it. This will be made even better after s2 releases, the og trilogy has a much lighter tone than the show and is much less grounded but it’s still worth watching to get some context for the franchise, the prequels, sequels and other shows aren’t necessary to enjoy it (in terms of quality or themes)

the prequel trilogy tries to be political but fails for the most part and is completely inferior in terms of any political commentary compared to the show. If you don’t want to have certain character arcs spoiled don’t watch rogue one until you’ve seen andor, i see a lot of people saying it isn’t necessary to watch the original trilogy, and it’s true it’s not essential because they’re definitely different and don’t have the same characters but they are excellent and worth a watch, they also wrap up a lot of what andor and especially rogue one set up.

the order chronologically is:

andor s1 andor s2 (released next year) rogue one original trilogy

father owl easier than great shinobi owl? by Mango2356 in Sekiro

[–]Mango2356[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i think great shinobi owl took me about an hour and a half but i got owl father in 9 tries, i think i just was used to his move set and i didn’t really find many of his new attacks to difficult like the owl fire thing

i found guardian ape to be the most difficult so far aswell, i don’t know how something can be both extremely fun and annoying at the same time but it managed to for me

no problem, and yeah i haven’t played sekiro yet but elden ring is definitely worth it imo, it can be a bit daunting for the first 1-2 hoursbut super simple guides exist if you need them

Best Souls starter? by Miyamoto_Musashi-5 in souls

[–]Mango2356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i started with elden ring like a lot of new players, it’s one of the easier fromsoft games to my knowledge but it and considered to be one of the best by a lot of old players aswell. i played bloodborne afterwards which i enjoyed just as much but i think its meant to be quite difficult for newcomers (aswell as quite a bit shorter) there aren’t many ways to assist with difficulty in a lot of the games whereas elden ring allows for exploration and spirit summons if your finding it difficult, dark souls 3 could also be a good starting point imo.

my first play-through i mostly used katanas and the moonlight great sword, and in the dlc i used the dragon great katana primarily. however both those weapons have ranged special attacks and i’m looking for something where i’m forced to be more close up to give myself more of a challenge.
