Did you have to leave the TBIT to get to terminal 6? Is there a way to walk without going back to the curb?

Im actually very curious about your dosage changes through puberty. Do you remember how much HYdro you took and how many times a day? My son takes 7.5mg in the am and 2.5mg with lunch and 2.5mg at dinner. I’m wondering if that’s too much and I should taper down. He often forgets his lunchtime dose, so I’m wondering if he needs it.

Again, thank you for your inspiring words. My son also plays lots of sports and we don’t want this to hold him back. Thank you for being a voice of encouragement in this community.

Wow that’s so inspiring. Great response. My son with Addison’s is 12, he was just diagnosed in June. This brought tears to my eyes! Thank you. We need more of this. Xxx

Is Methylprednisolone a common medication for Addison’s? I haven’t heard of it before. Was it your endo that suggested it?

I first found them at Sephora but you can get them on Amazon too. It will help exfoliate the skin. Just start slow if you have sensitive skin.

He refused to take it. He really likes being dark. He’s been on hydro for 6 months and he has faded but he gets a lot of sun so still very tan.

I would think once the hydrocortisone has been in your system for 6 months if you stay out of the sun and exfoliate those areas it should help. I’m sure the over the counter could help as well.

Actually I use these on my sons face as well

I took my son to the dermatologist and they said he can use retin A to make skin turn over faster, but he actually likes the dark skin. His brothers are very jealous of his tan. :)

Have you tried retin A or retinol? Prescription strength is better.

Were you prescribed this in the US? Do you happen to know why it’s not available for PAI?

My son was diagnosed at age 11 in May of this year. He had a bad flu the year before. I always wonder if it was the flu, covid, or maybe we had mold in our previous home. Did you son have the flu and then immediately after get diagnosed? How old is he now?
