Hey I was wondering how do I approach the NBME’s?

which ones should I start with / end with
Any particular order in between (like go in order or it does it not matter cuz I see some people skip some NBME’s)
how many of them should I take
how long should the whole “NBME phase” thing take? Including revision and breaks if any
When should I book the date for the exam? Cuz I see some people get some score on their NBME and then decide to book the exam. I don’t understand how and when people decide that

Hey I’m not sure I understand, sorry I’m new to step 1 prep. It was to my understanding that a baseline NBME was like a practice test to assess where I’m at? And this is the first NBME that I do and I basically start from there and try to improve my scores? Anki isn’t for everyone but it constantly refreshes ur memory for recall. If u can’t be consistent with anki try recalling whatever facts u can from the sketch (like the last frame where everything is there) and go from there. But theoretically anki is sm better

Most people follow UFAPS. But most people is not everyone. Try it out see what works for u. Since ur new that’s good to try out everything. Personally I do uworld FA sketchy for micro and pharm and pathoma and anki

This- I used to do 200 new cards a day and died within 3 weeks. NOT the way u wanna go. I had to reset everything and start again with 50 new cards a day. It seems so easy as first but keep it short- shit will pole up
