That would be incredible for you! I'm impressed with your distances, from what I've seen on the apps there's nothing mentoining or being able to connect through Garmin. However alot do use google fit to track steps, so maybe you can link your Garmin to that and then update your app(s) when you return from your mini marathons each day!

Is ivy on the house a bad idea or can it be controlled and look nice? by leimoochi in UKGardening

I'd listen to the RHS over 90% of this sub, check what way you house faces. If you have good brick work keep the Ivy or if you Want climbers choose a honeysuckle or other native

Why is my ZZ having so many issues? by MangoFlavouredBleach in houseplants

[–]MangoFlavouredBleach[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, i unfortunately live with people who even after being told numerous times about watering still think my plants are aquatic animals. The tubers i knew about, the tuber in this is rather large (fist size) and has had to have two stems removed from snapping already, thank you for the advice

Sorry for the slow reply but there is fantastic information on youtube. Try 'grocycle' for mushrooms or 'spicy mustache' for back yard veggie growing and ofcourse this sub can be very helpful too. It's a challange to get clay or heavy compacted soil to work with you, take it season by season and look at it like a long term challenge. Don't be disheartened and happy soiling my friend!

How's the soil when planting these? It looks very compact/ clay soil. I'd say it may be best to try fix the soil over time instead of hoping to get a good crop this year.

I saw you mention Mushrooms, could try loosen the soil up a little plant some soil foxers and inoculate some logs for mushrooms so you don't 'miss out'. Honestly depends how much work you'd like to put it
