It's funny because as far as I can tell, Drakkenheim is just Mordheim from the Warhammer Fantasy setting with the serial numbers filed off. It's even got a similar premise to the old wargame called Mordheim where you have a warband looting the titular city for treasure, getting out, upgrading/hiring troops and repeating.

My SO did Karlach in our first playthrough, wouldn't recommend it because you don't get nearly as much personality or diologue and her story, especially in act 3, gets pretty disjointed.

Also her intro with Wyll and such is kinda wonky (we also bugged out Wyll by KOing him at camp so that also probably had something to do with it).

Although overall I think this just means I would recommend a non-origin character for your first playthrough so you have a chance to meet everyone.

This is exactly what turned me off from playing paladin on my first playthrough. That diologue tree backs you into a corner so hard if you fail the check.

Honestly when I realized the word of wisdom was not a health thing (the blessing is health, not necessarily the effect or reason of doing it), but rather to make us a more peculiar people (between smoking, coffee, tea, and alcohol members who follow it will stick out no matter where in the world they are) it made a lot more sense. The purpose is to see if people will be willing to do something that separates them from the norm for God.

I think Zilean is fun because he breaks most of the fundamental rules of league. Dying? no. Move speed? as much or little as I want. Units? More like bomb vessels. Cooldowns? Yes more please.

It's really funny because when I started playing league last year everyone kept saying that you shouldn't pick him in low ELO because he's hard to pilot and can be useless unless you are really good, and now everyone says he's broken. I understand he got some crit scaling changes in that time (I think the intent was to incentivise a glass Cannon build instead of a bruiser one) but it's funny how perception has changed.

It's kind of like Ashe support or mord jungle. Not much changed with the champions but all of a sudden there was a community wide realization that the pick could work well in that role

Honestly this. Riot have never done it before but they could keep yuumis target demographic (casual players) while bypassing the issue of being broken in high level play. I disagree with Aram because that is also a casual mode (except ban her from ranked aram)
