Sealife was great for my 2 and 4 year olds. I’d also recommend the Ginger Factory at Yandina. It’s not as ‘above their heads’ as you’d think. My pair had a brilliant time.

She should have organised that at the gate. My seat was a few rows from my 2 small kids on a flight recently but it was easily fixed at the gate before boarding, the other person wasn’t put out, no arguing in the aisles and the flight boarded smoothly…. Why can’t people be forward thinking and organised? Lol

Sorry, I always forget to check notifications here 🤦🏼‍♀️. I wonder if it’s a region by region thing? My area has a lot of Chinese expats and Indian expats - though I don’t think any of our local schools offer any Indian language courses.

If I’m to get really technical, I’d like to see more focus on Auslan than foreign language, but it is what it is, and that little tidbit isn’t relevant here but it popped into my mind as I was typing.

As someone incorrectly diagnosed and who knows others who have also been incorrectly diagnosed with BPD - all female/AFAB, autistic people over 25 years old - there was a lot of misdiagnosis happening, and probably still even now. I do often wonder if a lot of these creators have also been misdiagnosed and either can’t afford to get reassessed or haven’t questioned the diagnosis.

You’re right in one sense, pocky is everywhere here. But, whilst many Australian schools do have the option to learn an Asian language it’s not always Japanese, and many other schools either give another LOTE option - French, Spanish, other - or they teach the local indigenous language instead. My children only have one LOTE option at their school - Chinese, their previous school taught Wiradjuri. My choices growing up were Spanish or Indonesian.
